Radish chutney recipe/mullangi chutney recipe/Healthy Recipe



    Cooking time:20 to 25 mins
    Serves:4 to 5

    Ingredients:

    Radish/Mullangi-2 chopped
    Onion-1 Chopped
    Tomato-3 Chopped
    Red chili-4 to 5 or as per your taste
    Garlic cloves-7 to 8
    Ginger-1/2 to 1 Inch
    Tamarind-1 Small Piece
    Turmeric-1/4 tsp
    Coconut Chunks-5 to 6 Large Piece Grated
    Curry leaves a sprig
    Coriander leaves 
    Oil-1 tsp

    Step by Step Photo Recipes:

    1.Add 1 tsp of oil in a kadai/pan.



    2.Add the Chopped Onion,Red chili and Garlic Cloves.


    3.Add a piece of Tamarind.

    4.Add Chopped Tomatoes.

    5.Add 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder and cook for 3 to 5 Mins.

    6.Further add chopped Radish/Mullangi and Grated Coconut into kadai.

    7.Add 1 Sprig Curry Leaves and Coriander Leaves and cook till it becomes soft and Mashy.

    8.Cool the Mixture Completely and add into blender and blend to smooth paste with required Salt.(if need add water).


    9.Now the chutney is ready to serve.

                Serve with hot Idly or Dosa.

    Notes:

    • you can also temper the chutney using 1 tsp of oil,1 tsp Mustard Seeds and Urad dal.
    • Salt and Spice can be added More or Less according to your taste.
