Coriander Chutney Recipe/Kothamalli Chutney Recipe

Coriander Chutney is one of the simple side dish,which is served with hot idli or dosa.In this post I have shared the recipe with step by step photos.Checkout the recipe and make a try.

Ingredients

Coriander leaves-3 Cups Chopped

Onion-1 medium sized Chopped

Tomato-2 Large sized Chopped

Red Chili-4 no

Ginger-1 inch Piece

Garlic-2 cloves

Tamarind-1/4 tsp

Coconut grated-2 tbsp(optional)

Salt to taste

Oil-1 tbsp

Sambar vadagam-1 tbsp(optional)

Step by Step Photo Recipes

1.Heat a kadai and add oil.

2.Add Vadagam and roast for a min.

3.Add Onion.

4.Then add Tomatoes.

5.Now goes in red chilies.

6.Further add Tamarind,Ginger and Garlic Cloves.

7.Finally Add coriander leaves.

8.Mix and cook till it becomes soft.

9.once ready switch off the flame and add grated Coconut.

10.Cool completely and trasfer it to a blender.

11.Add salt and blend Smoothly.

12.Serve with Idli or dosa.

Notes

1.Add more or less Chilies.

2.You can also add 1tbsp of urad dal in Oil to increase chutney quantity.

Notes
