Badam Milk Recipe

In this Post,I have shared the recipe of badam milk with step by step photos.Badam milk can be taken hot or it can be served chilled.

Badam milk is prepared with soaked Badam,milk,saffron and cardamom.It has lots of health benefits.The home made Badam milk is a real milk which has no additives in it.we can also lavishly use Badams.sugar level can be increased or reduced to our taste.

I used to prepare Badam milk in night time.so I prefer to drink the hot version.During summer you can prepare the Badam milk and store it in refrigerator and can be served chilled.

Badam milk can be taken by anyone,because of its health benefits.Having Badam milk during night helps in good sleep.

Regular consumption of badam milk helps in increase weight in Pregnant women and kids.

Ingredients

Badam-1/2 Cup

Milk-500ml

Sugar-2 tbsp

Saffron-1 tsp

Cardamom Pods-2 or 1/2 tsp powdered

Chopped Badam-1 tbsp(optional)

Step by Step Photo Recipe

1.Soak Badam in hot water for half an hour.

2.Add Saffron in 2tbsp of milk and soak.

3.Peel the skin of soaked sosked almonds and add into a blender

4.Make a paste by adding 1/4 Cup Milk.

5.Keep aside.

6.Add remaining milk in a saucepan.

7.Add 1/4 cup water and allow it to boil.

8.Once it reaches boiling point,add the badam paste and mix.

9.Stir in low flame for 5 mins.

10.Add the soaked saffron in milk.

11.Boil for 2 mins.

12.Add Sugar.

13.Add chopped almonds.

14.Finally add cardamom pods.

15.Boil for a minute and serve hot or store it in refrigerator and serve.
