Beach Sundal Recipe/Mangai Pattani

Beach Sundal which is one the famous street snack available in beaches and in Bazaar.Beach sundal is a combination of Tangy and spicy flavour.This sundal recipe is prepared with cooked peas,onion and tomato,then topped with Onion,mango and coriander leaves.In this post I have shared the recipe with step by step photos.checkout the recipe and make a try.

Ingredients

Peas-1 Cup

Raw Mango- 5tbsp grated

Onion-2 chopped finely

Oil-2 tbsp

Chili Powder-1 tsp

Tomato- 1 Chopped

Salt as required

Coriander leaves-2 tbsp chopped finely

Step by Step Photo Recipe

1.Soak Peas in water overnight.

2.Add the soaked Peas and salt in Pressure Cooker.

3.Pressure cook for 5 Whistles.

4.Heat a kadai and add Oil.

5.Add half portion of onions and Saute till it becomes soft.

6.Add Tomatoes and cook till it becomes soft.

7.Now goes in Chili Powder and Salt and saute for a minute.

8.Then add Cooked Peas and mix for 2mins.

9.while serving add the cooked Peas in a bowl.

10.Then Add chopped onions,grated mango and coriander leaves.

Notes

1.Adjust Chili powder more or less according to your spice level.
