Egg Poriyal Recipe/how to make Muttai Poriyal Recipe/Egg Recipe

Eggs are on of the versatile ingredients with which many other dishes are prepared.Here i have shared the recipe of Egg Poriyal with step by step photos and video.Eggs can be used to prepare many dishes such as Biryani,Fried Rice,Poriyal/Stir fry,noodles and snack recipes such as bajji and bonda.

Ingredients:

 
Eggs-4
Onion-1 Large Finely Chopped/Shallots-10 to 15
Green Chili-4 Finely Chopped
Curry Leaves-1 tsp Finely Chopped
Coriander Leaves-1 tsp Finely Chopped
Cumin Seeds-1/2 tsp
Mustard Seeds,Urad dal and Chana dal-1 tsp
Oil-1 spoon
Pepper Powder as required
Salt as required
 

Method:

Break open the eggs add salt and mix well and keep aside.
 
Heat a kadai add oil and add Cumin seeds,mustard seeds,urad dal and chana dal and once splutters add chopped onion,chilies,curry leaves and coriander leaves.
 
Once onion becomes soft add the egg mixture and Mix in medium flame till it gets cooked completely.Finally add pepper powder and mix.
 

Pre Preparation:
 
Break open the eggs,add Salt and mix well.Keep aside.
 

 

 

 Step by Step Photo Recipe:

 
1.Heat a kadai and add 1spn Oil.
 


2.Add Mustard seeds,Urad dal and Chana dal.

 
 

3.Once it Splutters add Cumin seeds.

 

4.Add Onions and Green Chilies.

 
 

5.Add in Curry Leaves and Coriander leaves.

 
 

6.Saute till onions turns soft.

 
 

 

 

8.Stir continuously.

 

 

 

 

9.Make sure it does not stick to the bottom of kadai.

 
 

10.Once ready add pepper Powder and Serve.

 


                         

 

Notes:

 
Adjust salt and Pepper powder as per your taste.
