Egg Thokku/Mutta Thokku Recipe

Egg Thokku or Mutta thokku is a simple go to recipe,which is prepared within 25mins of time.Egg thokku is a best side dish for Chapati,Idli or dosa.It can also be served with lemon rice,curd rice,Sambar rice and Rasam rice.

Ingredients

Egg-4

Onion-1 large chopped

Tomato-3 medium chopped

Ginger garlic paste-1 tsp

Curry Leaves-1 Sprig

Coriander leaves-2 tbsp finely chopped

Curry Powder-1 tsp

Coriander Powder-3 tsp

Chili Powder-1 tsp

Turmeric Powder-1/2 tsp

Green chili-1

Salt as needed

Oil-4 tbsp

Step by Step Photo Recipes

1.Add Egg and Salt in Water and Boil for 15 mins.

2.Remove the shell and cut into two halves.

3.Add Onion and tomato into blender and blend coarsely.

4.Heat a kadai and add Oil.

5.Add Coarsely blended onion and tomato.

6.Now add Green chili.

7.Then goes in Ginger garlic paste.

8.Saute till raw smell goes off.

9.Add Curry leaves,curry powder,Turmeric Powder,Chili Powder,Coriander powder and Salt.

10.Saute for 2 mins.

11.Add 1 cup water and cook till raw smell goes off.

12.Then add egg pieces and cook for 5 mins.

13.Finely add chopped coriander leaves and switch off.

Notes

1.Adjust Chili Powder more or less.
