Ingredients
White Chana/Chickpeas-1/2 Cup(Soaked overnight)
Onion-1 roughly chopped
Corainder leaves- 1/4 Cup
Green Chili-2
Coriander Powder-1 tsp
Salt-1 tsp
Oil for deep frying
Garlic Cloves-3
Lemon Juice-1 tbsp(optional)
Step by Step Photo Recipe
1.Soak 1/2 Cup Chana In water overnight.
2.Now Add the soaked chana into blender(remove the excess water)
3.Then add green chilies.
4.Add Coriander Powder.
5.Further add Salt.
6.Add Coriander Leaves and Onion.
7.Finally add Garlic Coves.
8.Blend Smoothely.
9.Heat Oil in a kadai.
10.Shape the batter.
11.Once the oil is hot drop the balls.
12.Cook in medium flame.
13.Cook till it becomes golden brown.
14.Serve with hummus.
Notes
1.You can also add Chili powder.
2.You can make any shape.
3.Make sure to cook in medium flame so that falafel willbe crispy outside and soft in texture inside.
4.In original recipe parsley is used instead of coriander leaves.
