How to make Custard Pudding/ Custard Recipe/No Gelatin

Ingredients:
 

Sugar-1/2 cup+1 tsp
Egg-1
Milk-1/2 cup
Vanilla extract-1/2 tsp

Pre preparation(Photo Recipe):

1.Caramelise 1/2 cup sugar in a sauce pan without adding water.

 

2.Make sure sugar turns to light brown.

3.Once ready pour in the pudding bowl and keep aside.

 

4.Now boil 1/2 cup milk with 1 tsp sugar and keep aside.

 

Step by step photo recipes:

1.Add 1 egg in a bowl and whisk without any bubbles.

 
 

2.Add in 1/2 cup milk and whisk again without bubbles.

 


3.Finally add 1 tsp vanilla extract and mix.

4.Sieve and Pour the mixture in pudding bowl and seal it with aluminium foil.

5.Place the bowl in a large container with some water and close the lid.

 

6.Steam for 20 mins or untill it sets completely.Cool down to room temperature and refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours.


7.Unmould and serve.

Notes:

  • While Whisking make sure to avoid Bubbles.
  • Make sure not to burn Sugar(Golden Brown).
