Idiyappam Recipe/Instant Idiyappam

Idiyappam is one of the most famous south indian recipe,which is one of the light breakfast.In this post,i have shared the recipe of idiyappam with step by step photo recipes.In chennai,idiyappam is served with aatu kaal paya(mutton leg gravy),which is deadly combo loved by most of the chennains.The other version of idiyappam are egg kothu idiyappam,lemon idiyappam and tamarind idiyappam.Idiyappam is also called as rice noodles.

Ingredients

Rice Flour-1 Cup

Water-2 Cups

Salt-1/2 tsp

Coconut Milk as required

Idiyappam Plate

Step by Step Photo Recipes

1.Add 2 cup water and Salt in a kadai and allow it to boil.

2.Once it attains boiling point,add Rice flour and Mix.

3.Switch off the stove,once it absorbs water.

4.Cover and rest for 15 mins.

5.After 15 mins,knead into a soft dough.

6.Add the part of dough in a murukku maker.

7.Use small hole plate.

8.Press the dough in a idiyappam plate.

9.Place the plates in a idli maker.

10.Steam for 5mins.

11.Serve hot with coconut milk or add sugar and coconut and serve.

Notes

1.Use Freshly prepared Rice flour for good taste.
