Idli upma recipe is one of my favourites and my brother also love this recipe.My mom used to make this recipe by preparing fresh hot idlies.Idlies are crumbled and then tossed in oil with mustard seeds and urad dal and tempered with Onions,green chilies,curry leaves and coriander leaves.Serve hot for best taste.

Ingredients

Idli-5

Onion-1 medium sized chopped finely

Green Chilies-2 Chopped finely

Curry Leaves-1 Sprig

Coriander Leaves-1 tbsp Chopped finely

Oil-2 tbsp

Mustard Seeds,Urad dal-1 tsp

Salt to taste

Step by Step Photo Recipes

1.Crumble the idlies.

2.Heat Oil in a kadai.

3.Once it becomes hot,add Mustard seeds and urad dal.

4.Allow it to splutter.

5.Add Onions.

6.Now add green chilies.

7.Add Curry leaves and cook till onions becomes soft.

8.Now add the idlies.

9.Add Salt.

10.Mix everything.

11.Finally add coriander leaves and serve.
