Karuvepillai sadham Recipe/How to make Curry Leaves Rice/Karivepaku Rice Recipe

 

Ingredients:

Curry leaves-1 cup
Cooked Rice-1 1/2 cup
Peanuts-1/4 Cup
Oil-3 tsp
Cumin Seeds/jeeragam-1 tsp
Peppercorns/Milagu-1/2 tsp
Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
Urad dal- 1 tsp
Channa dal-1 tsp
Red Chilies-3
Salt as needed

Step by Step Photo Recipe:

 

1.Add 1 tsp Oil in a Kadai.


2.Add in Cumin Seeds and Peppercorns.


3.Once it Splutters add 1 Cup Curry Leaves and Saute for 2 Mins.

 


4.Then transfer it to a blender and blend Smoothly.

 

 

5.Again Heat a Kadai and add 2 tsp Oil.

 


6.Now add Mustard Seeds,Cumin Seeds and Urad dal.


7.Further add Red Chilies and Peanuts and saute till it becomes light brown.


8.After it Splutters add blended mixture and Saute for Minute.


9.Finally add the Cooked Rice and required Salt and Mix.

 


10.Rice is ready to Serve.Serve Hot.

Notes:

  • Red Chilies can be added More if needed.
  • Left over rice can be used for this recipe,but Serve hot.
