Mor Kali/How to make Mor koozh,Buttermilk Upma/Healthy Recipe

 

Ingredients:

 
Curd-1/2 Cup
Rice Flour-1/2 Cup
Water-2 Cups
Oil-1/4 Cup
Mustard Seeds-1/2 tsp
Channa dal-1/2 tsp
Urad dal-1/2 tsp
Asafoetida/Hing-1 Pinch
Curry Leaves-1 Sprig
Coriander Leaves-1 tsp
Red Chili-3 Chopped(you can also add more if needed)
Salt as needed.
 
You can also add Mor Milagai,but Red Chili tastes good.
 

Step by Step Photo Recipe:

 
1.Add 2 Cups water in Curd and make it as a buttermilk.
 
 
2.Add Rice Flour in Buttermilk and mix without forming any lumps.
 
 
 

3.Add oil in a kadai.
 
 


4.Add Mustrad Seeds,Urad dal,Channa dal and Asafoetida.


5.Once it Splutters add Curry Leaves and Red Chilies.


6.Now add the Buttermilk mixture in kadai.


7.Once it gets starts thick Cook in medium flame and mix continuously without any lumps.


8.Make Sure Morkali is cooked well by dipping wet hands.If it Sticks Cook for sometime otherwise it is ready to Serve.

 



Notes:

  • Make Sure you are using Sour Buttermilk.
  • Once cooked Serve Immediately.
