Pakoda or Pakora is a deep fried indian Snack which is made with gram flour,onion,curry leaves and green chilies.Pakoda is one of the most loved Indian snack during winter climate.Hot Pakoda during rainy evening is a bliss,when served with cup of hot ginger tea.
Onion Pakoda is widely sold in indian streets,which is served with chutneys.I usually Prefer with Sambar Rice.Pakoda is a easy snack which is prepared within 10 Mins.
Pakoda is prepared by slicing Onions,Chopped green chilies,curry leaves and mixed with gram flour.Finally deep fried in hot oil and served hot.It is a flavourful snack and give it a try.

Preparation Time: 10 Mins
Cooking Time:20 Mins
Onion-3 Sliced
Green Chili-3 Chopped Finely
Gram/Besan Flour-250g
Rice Flour-3 tsp
Chili Powder-1/2 tsp
Baking Soda-1 Pinch
Curry Leaves-2 tsp Chopped
Coriander Leaves-2 tsp Chopped
Asafoetida-1 Pinch
Salt as needed
Oil for deep frying
Method:
Slice the Onion,chop the green chilies,curry leaves and coriander leaves.
Add everything in a mixing bowl.
further add Gram flour,rice flour,Chili Powder,salt and baking soda.Mix everything by sprinkling water little by little.
Heat oil in a kadai and drop small portions of dough and deep fry in medium flame till it turns golden brown.
serve hot with cup of hot tea.

1.In a mixing bowl add Sliced Onion and Chopped Green Chili.
3.Further add Gram Flour and Rice Flour.
Notes:
- Adjust Chili Powder according to your taste.
- Make sure Oil is in Medium hot.
- You can also replace gran flour with wheat flour,but it tastes different.
- do not overdo with gram flour because it ends with thick pakodas.
- you can also include cashews in dough,while mixing.
