Tapioca Stir Fry/Maravellikilangu Podimas Recipe with a detailed step by step photo recipe.Maravellikilangu Podimas is made with Cooked Tapioca,Onions,Red Chilies,Curry leaves and coriander leaves.
 
Tapioca is one of the healthiest food.This can be taken as breakfast.
Maravellikilangu can be consumed by boiled just by cooking with a little salt.
 
Tapioca stir fry is a simple recipe starts with boiling Tapioca.Make sure tapioca is not over cooked.stir fry onion,redchilies,curry leaves and corinader leaves.finally add tapioca and stir and serve.With Tapioca we can also make Tapioca Roti,Tapioca vada and Tapioca Chips.

Ingredients:

Tapioca/Maravelli Kilangu-1 Large(approx 2 1/2 Cup)
Onion-1 Medium Sized Chopped Finely
Curry Leaves-1 Sprig
Coriander Leaves-1 tsp Finely Chopped
Red chili-3
Oil-1 1/2 tsp
Mustard Seeds and Urad dal-1 tsp
Salt as needed
 
Pre Preparation:
 
1.Peel the Skin and Boil or Steam the Tapioca with needed Salt till it becomes Soft.
2.Once Cooked Chop into pieces.
 
 

Step by Step Photo Recipes:

 
1.Heat a Kadai and add Oil.
 
2.Once the Oil is hot add Mustard Seeds and Urad dal.
 
 

3.After it Splutters add Onion,Red Chilies,Curry Leaves and needed Salt and Saute till it becomes Soft.

 
 
 

4.Now add Chopped Tapioca and Mix in Medium Flame for 1 Min.

 
 

5.Switch off the flame and garnish with Coriander Leaves.

 
 

 

Notes:

  • Adjust Red Chilies according to your taste.
  • Do not over Cook Tapioca.
  • If needed finally add 2tsp of grated coconut and mix.
